Shapes between a sphere and convex polyhedra

Superspherical polyhedra are intermediate shapes between a sphere and convex polyhedra, or nearly polyhedral shapes with round edges, which are observed as the shapes of small particles or precipitates in materials. Here we show various examples of the superspherical polyhedra:

 a) tetrahedron
 b) octahedron
 c) dodecahedron
 d) icosahedron

 e) rhombic-dodecahedron
 d) rhombicuboctahedron

 f) Big Ball
